The dinner menues. The sitting room.
The double bed was too small for two people. The mattress was too soft when sleeping two people.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in several ways. the value for money was excellent, with reasonable prices and great attention to detail throughout. Secondly, the location, though not by the sea, offered a peaceful setting away from the hustle and bustle. I was fortunate to stay in the main house which provided stunning views of the gardens. The service from the staff was impeccable, with a friendly and helpful attitude. The basic amenities in the rooms were satisfactory, and I particularly enjoyed watching the LCD TV in the evenings. Lastly, the breakfast included in the stay was delicious and provided a good variety of options.
All was fine, no major complaints.

I stayed at your hotel which was great, however after eating in your restaurant approx 8:45pm I started feeling very ill around 10:30pm had very bad sickness all through the night and into the next day. I have reported it to the hotel Manageress who contacted me to advise it is being investigated and that its never happened before!! I was very disappointed as it was a romantic evening planned for myself and my partner and I was in fact very ill. I would appreciate a reply from yourselves asap, and even a gesture of goodwill. Regards Amanda Jones

The gardens were very nice to walk around in and the breakfast was of a good quality.
I did not like the hotel design or the fact that the facade was old and the interior was like a tinny ship. The rooms were small and very hot. Mine was noisy and I was woken at 5.30 by crashing bins and people talking. The bed was small and quite hard too. All together I did not enjoy my stay with you and would probably not recommend you.

Beautiful setting, welcoming staff, stunning grounds and gardens. the room was clean and nicely furnished, with modern amenities, including free Wi-Fi. the restaurant served decent food.
The room was not soundproofed. We were woken up several times throughout the night due to loud conversations from the neighboring rooms.

The arrival up the winding drive through the gardens leads you to believe that you are staying in a wonderful country house. Unfortunately the disappointment sets in immediately you open the door and step into the reception area..........say no more

Great location near attractions and shopping. Breakfast was delicious and offered a variety of options. The staff was friendly and accommodating.
The room was smaller than expected and the bathroom could have used some updating. The noise level from other guests could be heard in the room.

The fact that the staff dealt fairly and quickly with our concerns
Terrible room- fitted out as a disabled person suite- but poorly- lots of problems need addressing>

The receptionist was extremely helpful
The Bathroom was very poor - I was very upset that there was no bath in the room, especially after paying so much for the room. Hotel food was rediculously expensive, and as there was such a walk into the local town, it was hard to decide what to do about food.

The surrounding grounds were beautiful and very relaxing.
The hotel I felt was very let down by the condition that it is in. The bedrooms were reasonable but the en suite bathrooms made me feel that I was using a public swimming pools. If it was not for the surrounding grounds of the hotel, I would have been incredibly disappointed. (Fortunately I was only staying for one night!) It is in need of a good refurbishment!
